The night featured high-energy performances by Only in America, a Brooks & Dunn tribute act, and the popular Reed Foley Band, who kept the crowd on their feet throughout the evening. From line dancing to sing-along favorites, the music created the perfect soundtrack for the hootenanny atmosphere.
Guests also enjoyed a variety of crowd-pleasing activities, including a mechanical bull, axe throwing, rodeo roping challenges, and the always-popular “Wheelbarrow of Cheer” and “Jail & Bail” fundraisers. A silent auction offered an array of prizes generously donated by local businesses and community members, with proceeds supporting Rotary projects and charitable initiatives in the area.
Dinner was provided by a local restaurant partner, and the ticket price included wine, beer, and a hearty spread of food. An additional cash bar kept spirits flowing late into the evening.
Event organizers hailed the night as a resounding success, both in turnout and fundraising. Attendees praised the blend of entertainment, food, and fellowship, calling the Hootenanny one of the most memorable local gatherings of the year.
With its strong community support, the Edgewater Rotary’s Hangar Hootenanny has firmly established itself as a signature fall event for Southeast Volusia — one that combines good fun with doing good.
